MaestroDMX

This was an excellent buy. I use it to control 4 Rockville light sabers for be band. The shows and audio cues add a great element to our show. I feel like this unit is even better when you deploy four separate tracks, as I could use a track with some movers and a track with some washes.

My criticism of the unit is price, as I feel like it should be more in 500 range than 850. Further, it is not necessarily set and forget, as you still need to determine what lighting “style” you want, such as ambient, party, etc. it works for a band but probably easier to manage for DJ since they have ability to Change lighting styles while changing tracks.

No matter, this is an excellent tool and will elevate your lighting to a semi professional level

I play in an acoustic/rock duo and we like many bands today do our own sound and lighting live from stage.

While we could have set up a few scenes on a small dmx controller, we just had a few lights in a master/slave setup running a program in the fixture itself. Enter MarstroDMX! It was clear out of the box that we could setup our lights and turn it on and it would be a great light show without doing anything else, but once I saw how customizing could be done within it, I could not help but skip the plug and play mode and start building scenes for specific songs. To be clear, if you want to take it to the next level you’ll want to add a midi foot controller and in our case some additional light fixtures. Its a small unit to carry in, plug in and have the best looking show possible short of having a house lighting person running a show for you.

Although the learning curve might feel steep, there is so much incredible technology here to explore. This is such a powerful and freeing tool if you want to not worry so much about your lighting setup & just let it play. I have a basement setup and I like to dance with friends, and this thing is so killer at mixing lights to songs. With just a little guidance on each song, you can dial this thing in perfectly. Highly recommend trying it - you won't be disappointed!

Ich bin absolut vom Maestro DMX begeistert.

Ich habe mir ein paar Leuchten gekauft und diese zunächst mit dem Wolfmix W1 betrieben. Da ich mich auf der Party, nicht permanent mit dem Licht beschäftigen will, habe ich mir den Maestro DMX bestellt. Einfach ein paar Leuchten ansprechend zusammenstellen, mit ein paar DMX Grundkenntnissen die Lampenprofile im Maestro einpflegen und los geht’s. Zwischendurch kann man sich einfach mal durch die Licht Presets klicken um noch mehr Abwechslung in die Lichtshow zu bringen.

Tolles Gerät, so macht Beleuchtung Spaß.
